STATEMENT CONCERNING COVID-19

The Plaza Resort Club Hotel cares deeply about its guests and employees and is committed to protecting health and safety.

We are aware of the many concerns surrounding traveling and want to let you know what we’re doing to help keep you safe, while visiting the Plaza Resort Club Hotel.

We have instructed our housekeeping staff to concentrate on disinfecting all surfaces in the guest rooms in between stays and have stepped up our cleaning schedule of all high-touch surfaces, including but not limited to elevator buttons, handrails, door handles, etc. Further, we have sourced additional hand sanitizing stations that will be installed throughout the property. We encourage our guests to use them regularly.

In addition, we are providing training for our employees on proper techniques to avoid sickness. Any employees showing signs of sickness will not be allowed to work.

If you’re showing symptoms, we ask that you suspend your travel plans, to prevent the spread of this virus.

Impacts:

This public health crisis will unfortunately have some impacts on the guest experience at the Plaza Resort Club Hotel.

Front Desk / Valet:
Due to potential staffing issues, we will be eliminating some shifts in our front desk and valet departments to ensure that we have adequate staffing to cover for each other, should some of our staff need to self-quarantine during this crisis. This could result in longer check-ins and longer waits for your vehicle. We apologize for the inconvenience and will return to normal staffing levels as soon as this crisis passes. We appreciate your understanding.

Paid Breakfast Service:
Due to the intimate nature of our dining facilities, as well as the self-service nature of our breakfast environment, we have suspended our paid breakfast service effective Saturday, March 14. Anyone who pre-paid for breakfast will be refunded. We hope to re-start the breakfast service as soon as the situation stabilizes. We will be supplementing the General Store with ready to eat breakfast items and also remind guests of the many fabulous breakfast options, within a short walk.

The health and welfare of our guests and employees is our highest priority. We are doing our best to keep everyone safe and prevent the spread of this virus.
